The Procedure
The pellet insertion is a quick, simple in-office procedure performed under local anesthesia. A tiny incision is made in the hip area, the pellets are inserted, and the site is closed with a small bandage. It takes less than 15 minutes.

Full Wellness Consultation

An in-depth evaluation of your internal health and aging goals with our Wellness Nurse Practitioner, Sarah Martin. This consultation focuses on hormone optimization (specializing in Pellet Therapy/HRT), medical weight loss solutions, and peptide therapy. If hormone therapy is right for you, we will order labs.
If you choose to move forward with a weight loss or hormone membership, this consult fee will be applied toward your first month!
Lab Panel & Review - Hormone
$175
This includes in-clinic blood draw for your convenience by Sarah Martin, NP. We will then send the blood draw to a qualified testing facility. Results usually take 2-5 days. When your results get in, our Nurse Practitioners will set up a custom plan for your hormone replacement needs. Your lab review appointment will be virtual or in-person and included in this price.
• Note: Required prerequisite. This fee is separate and never included in the monthly membership price.

Note: Competitive cash-pay lab pricing is available for Leawood and Overland Park residents without insurance coverage for specific panels. Initial consultation fee applies.
Frequently Asked Questions
We use a robust local anesthetic to numb the area completely. Most patients report feeling only a little pressure during the insertion. You may be sore for 24–48 hours afterward, similar to a focused gym workout.
Some patients report relief in as little as 48 hours, but for most, it takes 2–4 weeks to feel the full effects of optimization as the hormones integrate into your system.
Pellets have been used since the late 1930s. Because they are structurally identical to your own hormones, they avoid many of the adverse side effects associated with synthetic hormones. Our Medical Director and practitioners strictly adhere to safety protocols and monitoring.
