The Acne Edit

The Acne Edit is a targeted facial designed for congested, breakout-prone, and inflamed skin.

This treatment starts with a deep pore cleanse, followed by an AHA/BHA chemical peel to help exfoliate buildup, refine texture, and support clearer-looking skin. Focused extractions are performed as needed, followed by provider-selected laser support with Laser Genesis or Excel V+ to help calm the appearance of redness and support overall skin clarity. The treatment finishes with exosomes and SPF to protect and support the skin.

Sophia and the Soko staff were amazing. Upon arriving I was greeted and given education on some products I had asked about. From start to finish, my experience at SOKO was truly incredible. The space itself is stunning — so clean, calming, and beautifully designed — it immediately puts you at ease the second you walk in. Andrea greeted me so warmly and made me feel right at home, which set the tone for the entire visit.

I first saw Sophia and Samantha for Botox, and they were both absolutely amazing. How long is a SOKO facial appointment?

Each SOKO facial is approximately 45 minutes – 1.5 hours. For the 1.5 hour facials, you will change into one of our comfortable gowns. For the other facials, you will keep all your clothes on.

Which facial should I book before an event?

The Red Carpet Ready Facial is our signature event-prep facial. It is designed for a cellular glow and includes dermaplaning, lactic chemical peel, HydroJelly® mask, décolletage massage, Laser Genesis, and PLATED Exosomes.

Timing depends on your skin, sensitivity, and event date, so your provider can help guide the best schedule.

Which facial gives the most “glass skin” look?

The Nano Glass Facial is designed for a smooth, luminous, hydrated-looking glass-skin finish. It includes dermaplaning, lactic chemical peel, HydroJelly® mask, décolletage massage, nano-channeling, and SOKO Exosomes.

Do you offer a pregnancy-friendly facial in Kansas City or Leawood?

Yes. The Nano Glass Facial is SOKO’s pregnancy-friendly facial option after medical screening and ingredient review.

Your provider will review your pregnancy status, health history, ingredients, and treatment steps before your service.

Which facial is best for men or clients with beards?

The SOKO Executive Facial is best for beards and facial hair. It does not include dermaplaning and is designed to refine skin using a lactic chemical peel, HydroJelly® mask, Laser Genesis, nano-channeling, and SOKO Exosomes.

What is the difference between the exosomes used in each facial?

The Red Carpet Ready Facial finishes with PLATED Exosomes.

The Nano Glass Facial and SOKO Executive Facial finish with SOKO Exosomes.

Each finishing product is selected based on the treatment goal and protocol.

Is there downtime?

Downtime is typically minimal, but it depends on your skin and the facial selected. Mild pinkness, tightness, dryness, or light flaking may occur.

We recommend keeping your routine gentle and wearing SPF daily after treatment.

When will I see results?

Many clients notice smoother, brighter-looking skin within a day. Continued improvement may be seen over the following days depending on the facial, your skin condition, and the treatment steps performed.

Are these facials good for sensitive skin?

Many sensitive skin clients can receive a customized facial, but your provider will review your history and adjust the treatment as needed.

If your skin is actively irritated, sunburned, or compromised, we may recommend postponing or modifying your service.

Does the facial hurt?

Most clients find SOKO facials comfortable. You may feel a light tingle with the lactic peel, warmth with Laser Genesis, or gentle stimulation during nano-channeling.

Your provider will check in throughout the treatment.

What should I avoid after my facial?

Avoid harsh exfoliants, retinoids, direct sun exposure, tanning, and aggressive active ingredients for several days unless your provider instructs otherwise.

SPF is essential.

SOKO facials are great for many clients seeking smoother, brighter, healthier-looking skin. We may postpone or customize treatment if you have active cold sores, open lesions, recent sunburn, recent isotretinoin use, very recent waxing or peels, significant irritation, or if you are pregnant or nursing and certain steps need to be modified.

All laser and light-based treatments at SOKO are medical services. Treatment eligibility is determined only after medical screening and practitioner assessment. Certain services may require supervising-physician authorization and are performed only pursuant to written protocols and applicable supervision requirements.
